The gym is clean, but the hours are terrible for paying $200+. All other gyms are open from 5 am - 11pm or later. This gym closes at 8pm on a Friday and 5pm on weekends. That's ridiculous.
I've been a member a two different locations, but I have frequented several. I recently moved to Torrance and decided I would switch from the Culver city Equinox to Palos Verdes. I wish I had read these reviews before I made that decision. I agree with the majority of the complaints. Especially regarding the arrogance of some of the staff there.I am a big fan of relaxation and massages. So when I joined this club, I inquired about massage services from the massage therapist. He was really nice and informative. I thought he might be a personal trainer as well, because I always saw him talking with them and in meetings with them. Was spoken to in a rude and condescending manner by the gentleman at the front when exploring membership options.I know others that work out here, so I’m giving three stars because I know they’ve got good equipment.
