“I used Good Life Construction to remodel my mother-in-law's bathroom. We needed to convert a tub shower combo to a walk-in-shower. We needed a small lip and wanted the shower to be widened. Our goal was to get this done within the next month and at a low cost so that she could continue to care for herself since she is in her 80's and was no longer able to get in the tub easily. We took several bids but Good Life Co Rep (Serge) came out and seemed to listen to what we wanted and needed. He was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Their bid was competitive and one of the cheaper ones but I felt like I was going to be taken care of by a good team. Serge and the admin team were very communicative by email and we scheduled the work in a timely manner. The work took 3 days and was exactly what we needed. The crews were clean and nice. The put the grab bars exactly as we specified and wanted the adjustable shower head for later when we have to add a shower chair. Overall, a great experience at a reasonable price. I would recommend them to my friends. I've attached a before and after pic. The after shows the quality work done prior to putting up the shower curtain.“

The manager that helped us, Devon, was great. She was always available to text, with questions, and really wanted to make sure we were happy, and we are. Thank you!

update: Since posting this review the owner has reached out and informed me that the crew, that worked on our home, no longer works for Lawton Construction. They are going to try to fix some of the things, that they can fix, and apologized for everything we went through. I will update this review once again, once the work is redone with a new crew, but so far am impressed that they took our experience to heart and are trying to make it right.

Terrible, terrible, terrible! So many things went wrong with this company, and the job never got completed fully, and the craftman ship is awful. There is grout that is missing from tile on backsplashes. Workers didn't turn off water and had gallons of water that leaked into crawl space, so needed additional mitigation team, which of course they wanted my insurance copmany to pay for, even though it was THEIR mistake. Had to have industrail fans running for days, and had a $400 electric bill that WE had to pay. Was told the job was "small and would take minimal time to complete", and estimated 5 weeks... well 5 months later I had to hound them to get it finsihed. Would talk to one manager and get one story, and talk to another manager and get a compeletely different story. Learned that they didn't have employees for the job so they found random ones "who said they knew how to do the job". After job was completed they sent yet again another bill saying that they had mistakes on the other one and didn't account for certain things, also their fault! A year later, the grout is coming out of the tile and have to wear shoes or feet get cut on the tile. Towel rack coming out of wall, to discover that they didn't repair and paint the whole wall- they hung the hardware then painted around it. As we look closer we notice there is paint on the cabinets, or chipped from their tools, and most of the hardware in bathroom. Also some paint tape left on top of one of the fixtures. One of the floor tiles was chipped. Tack holes, from hanging plastic, were never filled, so have small holes in ceiling, from their work, this was not there before. Smoke detecor was never hung back up. One corner of wall was never repaired at all, and there is just painters tape closing up the whole in the sheetrock. We had to paint and touch up kitchen walls and cabinets after they left. Hole behind backsplash was never filled, they just painted over it hoping we wouldn't notice. Tiles on floor/wall backsplash don't line up with the floor tiles. We can't use one of our floor vents, because they cut the tiles too big and had to hammer the vent shut to make it fit! So unprofessional all around, and looks like a high school trades class did the work, but charge top shelf. If we didn't fear opening up another claim from insurance company we would have all this work redone by someone else, and we don't have the funds to spend $30K on our own, so we are stuck with it. As another review stated, don't walk from this company, RUN!!!“

“It took me some time to write this review because my journey with Goodlife was truly unique. Two years ago, my home was destroyed in a storm when two oak trees fell on it, leaving it uninhabitable. Initially, I hired a different company to handle the rebuild, but the process was full of issues and delays. Frustrated, I reached out to my insurance adjuster to switch contractors, and that's when I found Goodlife--and my journey with them began. From the very start, Goodlife was honest, transparent, and incredibly supportive. I felt an immediate connection with them. They moved quickly, handling all the details and guiding me through the selection process for materials and designs. Since this was a complete rebuild, I knew it would take time, and in the end, the project lasted about a year and a half. Throughout the entire process, they were with me every step of the way, always gracious and understanding. During this time, my life took an unexpected and devastating turn. My husband of 41 years became very ill and passed away. With my children living far away--one in a different state and another in a different country--I found myself alone. But Goodlife became so much more than just a contractor; they became a part of my family. They didn't just focus on rebuilding my house--they made sure I was okay. They asked how they could help, listened when I needed to talk, and treated me with incredible compassion. Mark, in particular, went above and beyond to fight for me. He worked tirelessly to ensure I got everything I needed and deserved, he was soooo amazing!!! He held my hand EVERY step of the way! and the result is a home that is absolutely stunning. Olesia who handled the financing, was like my angel--keeping me updated on payment plans, timelines, and costs with so much grace and care. Communication was constant, clear, and reassuring throughout the entire process. When the house was finally finished, I hosted a "Goodlife party" to celebrate and thank the team for everything they had done. Even now, they remain a big part of my life. We keep in touch, and I still have them over--they will always be part of my family! Big thanks to Roman, Tim, Scott, Mary, Serge and Artem, Mark, Olesia and Ella! Goodlife didn't just rebuild my home; they helped me rebuild my life during one of the hardest times I've ever faced. Their kindness, professionalism, and unwavering support are things I will never forget.
