“I have been a patient of Scott’s for many years, but in September 2023 I came to him with two digestive issues that had become very concerning to me: SIBO and EPI.
At the time, I was reading everything I could find, and everywhere I looked people were talking about aggressive protocols, harsh antimicrobials, and trying to kill off bacteria. Scott took a very different approach. He explained that healing the gut is not about declaring war on it, but about restoring balance and supporting the body so it can heal itself.
I was very sick and on line I was reading about everyone taking strong antibiotics or harsh supplements and following intense protocols. But I trusted Scott, as I always have, and followed his guidance.
Over the next couple of years, we took a gentle, natural approach. I never had to take harsh antimicrobials or follow an aggressive treatment plan that made me feel worse. Instead, we focused on supporting my body’s healing process.
Today, I am thrilled to share that my recent retesting showed no SIBO, and my pancreatic elastase test has returned to the normal range. Even before the retesting, I had noticed that my digestion had been steadily improving for several months. Healing wasn’t fast, but it happened. Looking back, I am so grateful that I trusted the process and didn’t chase one quick fix after another.
