Story time:
I had my hair done at another salon after requesting a light blonde color. My hair was originally a very light brown/dark blonde, but I walked out with hair that was actually darker than when I came in, along with severe breakage and overall damage (Picture 1).
I was leaving for a trip soon and was desperate for a color correction. I decided to walk into the closest salon near me, Inland Empire Hair Co., and it was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made! I was greeted right away and explained what had happened to my hair. The stylist immediately said she knew the perfect person to help me and that’s when I met Alissa!
Alissa sat me down for a consultation, carefully examined my hair, and instantly knew what had gone wrong and exactly how to fix it. I was so relieved to find someone who was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also so confident and honest about the process. She was even able to fit me into her schedule before my trip, which I am beyond grateful for.
During my appointment, Alissa explained every step of the process in detail, which immediately put me at ease. She first removed the previous color, and that’s when all of the damage and discoloration from the other salon became obvious (Picture 2). From there, she meticulously color-corrected every section of my hair with so much precision and attention to detail. It was clear she truly cared about getting everything just right.
Throughout the appointment, Alissa used multiple repair treatments and recommended a personalized step-by-step hair care routine to help repair the damage caused by the previous salon. She prioritized the health of my hair every step of the way while still achieving the bright blonde color I wanted. I never once felt rushed, and she took the time to make sure everything was done perfectly.
The results completely exceeded my expectations (Picture 3). My hair turned out even better than my inspiration photo, and it feels way healthier. On top of being an incredibly talented stylist, Alissa is so kind, patient, and easy to talk to. She made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish.
I truly cannot recommend Alissa enough! She is an expert at what she does, and her knowledge, honesty, attention to detail, and genuine care for her clients are evident in every part of the appointment. If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with your hair Alissa is the person to see. I’ll absolutely be coming back to her for all of my future appointments!
blonde and black extensions by jenny from ria’s line! i’ve never gotten extensions before and jenny made me super comfortable with them as was great with the install. she was also super understanding of my situation. had a concert that i wanted only half of them done for because i was doing a half up half down, (last photo) then let me come back later to add in the rest! (first and second). jenny will FOR SURE work with you. the extensions themselves feel super nice and don’t tug on my real hair and can hold a style. tysm again ily all
Shonda has been nothing but an amazing and wonderful hair stylist. She always takes her time and great care with my hair. When I first came to Shonda, my hair was damaged due to a prior bad experience with another salon. She offered great solutions on what I could do to help the healing process while still having beautiful coverage. Shonda is so sweet and I love her expertise on hairdressing. She always makes me feel welcome and she’s always open to listen to what journey I want to follow through with my hair. I highly recommend coming to Shonda for any hair services.
