“We had been plagued by a strong, intermittent urine smell in a bedroom for months. I had thoroughly cleaned everything and eventually suspected that our original (70+ y.o.) cast iron plumbing may have been to blame, as the main line ran underneath the floor in the bedroom with the odor. We had sluggish drains as well, and decided to go ahead with a full re-pipe under the house. We got 3 quotes, and Thrifty came in at the best price. One quote was nearly double. Another quote came in somewhere in the middle, but the plumber never sent a written estimate and was hard to get ahold of! Mike’s team came out on a Saturday morning and worked for nearly 12 hours to complete the job in a day, so that we could have running water by the end of the day. You just don’t see men work as hard as his crew did very often anymore. Right proud of them. Best of all, the urine smell is gone! They even spread some kitty litter down beneath the house to help absorb any dampness or odor. I’m beyond delighted with their work. 10/10 recommend!“
