“All the staff and Dr. A were wonderful. Everyone was friendly and answered all my questions. I had a few appointments and follow ups for my veins and I was in and out in a timely manner. When I had the procedures done Dr or his assistants would explain everything they were doing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that has spider vein or varicose veins. Janelle B“

I was very nervous bc I’m not on my parents insurance any longer and wanted to get a check up for a UTI. They were very kind, respectful, informative, supportive I couldn’t have asked for anything more. 10/10 donate if you can!! They are definitely needed!“

401 Paradise Rd # E, Modesto“I am transgender, and I have ADHD. When I first started going to PMO in 2020 I had recently been fired from a job due to coming out as trans, so I had lost my private insurance and also lost access to my psychiatrist who I was receiving my ADHD medication through. I heard about PMO because there had been information circulating about the Trans health services that they started providing, so I decided to check it out. It was the best decision I have ever made for my healthcare, because they not only prescribed me topical HRT the day that I went through informed consent (my second appointment), but they also referred me to UCSF for speech therapy when I expressed feeling dysphoric about my voice. I never felt like my experiences were being looked down on, and when I expressed that I was struggling due to losing my medication to treat my ADHD, I was also referred to the psychiatrist who operates out of PMO. During that diagnostic interview with the psych at PMO I realized how shitty my experience with my private psych had been, because the psych at PMO was genuinely listening to me and didn't express any doubt but rather asked questions in a neutral way to get a good idea of my symptoms. I'm really surprised that people will rate a clinic as wonderful as PMO with a 1 star just because they have to wait for their appointment. This clinic is staffed with the *BEST* doctors I have *EVER* had in my entire life. At PMO my health needs and concerns were immediately validated, and there were no arbitrary hoops that I had to jump through just to be diagnosed with something I've had for my entire life. I was approved and referred for surgery (not trans related) on my very first visit, when in the past before losing my main source of income and private insurance I would have to fight tooth and nail to even get a referral. Yes, you will have to wait for your appointment, even if you show up early. Bring a book because it really shouldn't matter to you if you're getting care from a staff that is full of residents from UC Davis, and who also refer you to get the healthcare services you need *immediately* and won't roll their eyes at you when you describe your lived reality. The people who complain about waiting have a lot of privilege they need to reflect on, because waiting to get top notch care really shouldn't be the reason why you would rate a clinic with 1 or 2 stars; quit being a Karen and realize that getting good healthcare will either cost a shit ton of money, or you might have to wait a bit. Personally, I'd rather wait a bit for a clinic I *know* has great doctors, than be in a clinic that treats every patient like they're liars. (Also you don't go to a clinic for the front desk, you go for the doctors. Who cares if they aren't kissing your ass like starbucks employees? You're not there for customer service, you're there for health care.) (Also PA's can't legally sign DMEs and PPEs have to be selected by the patient.) (THIS IS WHAT A ZERO/ONE STAR EXPERIENCE LOOKS LIKE!) Because I was so spoiled with PMO, when I moved to San Joaquin county I thought the experience should be roughly the same. This couldn't have been further from the truth. Not only was I told by my PCP in SJ county that she was "uncomfortable diagnosing me" with anything I had already had diagnoses for (even my gender dysphoria!), but she basically prepared me for the awful experience I was due to have at the SJ County Behavioral Health Services. She essentially told me that I would be initially denied for services on the basis that my PCP should be the one to treat me, but she said I needed to tell them that my PCP was "uncomfortable treating me" in order for them to allow me access to care. (Think Mr. Incredible telling the old lady how to jump through all the hoops the ins company he worked for just so she could get the money she was owed.) Sadly, this was exactly the case, and my entire experience with SJCBHS was one of fighting just to even be seen as having“

It’s not their fault; they’re overcrowded just like all the other locations. Just tryna let people know so they’re not surprised when they have to go somewhere else for an emergency.“

We are a new patient and she needed to make sure all our insurance Information was correct, and that we were eligible. It was a challenge, not because of her actions, but because our Insurance is alittle difficult to understand. Monica made the appropriate phone calls and returned my calls when she said she would. I'm very confident our interaction with our new Dr. will go just as well! THANK YOU, MONICA...You represent well!“
