“Green Hills did a wonderful job regrading and repaving our back yard around the pool and adding much needed drainage to the street. In front, they cleared our the entire yard and installed planters, irrigation, water efficient and durable Bolero grass, and very nice curb appeal.“

“After many, many months of design and planning, we were introduced to Randy by our landscape designer. As originally planned, the project was well above our budget. Randy and the designer (Geoff Andrews) came over one evening, sat with my wife and I, and helped to find ways to make adjustments and cuts to the original scope to get the project within budget but also to where we would love the end result. We signed a contract that night and Randy got to work the following week. We were doing an entire backyard renovation including pouring all new concrete, removing changes in elevation, and adding an outdoor kitchen. Demo was FAST and if not for nonstop rain, we probably would have been done with the remodel sooner as well. Over the 6 months we worked with Randy, there were a few times where we discussed adjustments to our original plan that he felt incremental cost would drastically improve the quality of the end result and we are SO glad we listened to his advice. There were other times where he felt we had some unnecessary changes and where we could SAVE money. In the end, the additions weren't quite offset by the omissions, but the tradeoffs were well worth it. The end result is a masterpiece and we couldn't be happier. It was such a smooth and pleasant experience working with them to transform my backyard. They truly went above and beyond to make it beautiful.

What stood out the most was their excellent communication and after-service care. Bob was always responsive, willing to listen to my concerns, and made sure everything was tailored perfectly to my needs. Even after the project was completed, a few plants didn’t survive the hot El Dorado Hills weather (despite proper watering). Bob quickly replaced them (including Italian Cypress) as part of their aftercare service, which really shows their commitment to customer satisfaction.

“Josh and Viridity 3D designed and created a incredible landscape plan for our house. The previous owners didnt have much of anything in the back or side yards and the front driveway and yard was dated and nothing to speak of. We faced a tricky landscape as we sit on a hill that slants not only front to back but also left to right. Josh came in and created a unbelievable vision for the entire property-front, side and back. He was timely with his appointments, thoughtful in his designs and had great communication throughout the process. He was very responsive to our questions and feedback and continue to construct the design after each meeting. “I wanted to give a real shout out to Jay and his team for the amazing work he did on my yard installing a low water sprinkler system and redoing the old configuration of my 1938 house lawn in land park. I needed him to comply with the city requirements to get a water rebate. His quote came in a bit high but he was willing to bring it down in consideration of other bids Igor. His crew is very professional and good. Super hard working. They even had to deal with a broken pipe from a poorly placed fence that broke the water pipe. The worker dug out the concrete and fixed the pipe and reinstalled the fence stake, and removed the heavy concrete. He even extended the water out to a street stop area beyond where it was before. Jay worked with the city to submit documents and I passed inspection shortly thereafter qualifying for a $400 rebate! Great job.“

“I had a great experience with Bell.
I wasn't sure if I wanted hydroseed or sod.
They were very patient and answered lots of questions over the phone and I decided to go with sod because I wanted my dogs to be able to get on it sooner.

They were able to work with me so that I could have the area all prepped and their guys would lay it down in place.

The price was better than anyone else that gave quotes. His crew was very friendly and professional. They were on time and stayed until the job was done.

After install I had a little bit of trouble with some of the sod dying out when the temperature was over 107 here in Cameron Park. Happened while I was on vacation.

They stood behind their work and handled my concerns without pushing back. I had replacement sod delivered right away.

It's nice to work with the local company that stands behind their work.

“Jim and his crew have been amazing to work with! Punctual, excellent quality work, clear communication and work 6-7 days a week (7AM-4PM). Knowledgeable team that takes pride in their work! Jim and his team have taken on the replacement/rehab and expansion of a 2,800SqFt deck, leveling the hillsides, custom concrete retaining walls, landscaping grass additions, irrigation line installations, interior/exterior door installations, etc. No task is too small and we feel they truly care about the outcome of this transformation. After a year of trying to find someone to rehab our existing natural rock formation pool, we had given up. Planned to break out the bottom and fill it in with dirt due to the $100K price tag that everyone seemed to circle around. Jim had a team that was able to completely redo the pool (existing gunite removal, plaster replacement, pebble tech installation, plumbing replacement, electrical replacement and new equipment installation). We had 5+ companies come out and tell us that rehabbing this pool was impossible, but Jim & his contacts have made our dream a reality after buying a home with a pool that didn't actually function like the previous owner had explained. I am not a person to write reviews, but after seeing the previous raters' comments, I had to clear the air for any future clients that go online.“
