First time customer after my former hairdresser of 6 years moved out of state. Booked with Rick M and was quite nervous. I was warmly greeted by a few folks. The salon is lovely, clean and open (not crowded with stations). Rick took me to his station, asked what I wanted and shampooed my hair and then... he started to clip away. He told me what each tool was for and in the time it took my hair to dry (no dryer) I had the cutest short cut I've had in a long time! He put some Redken texture paste in his hands and rubbed it into to my thin head of hair and it perked up and looked perfect and smelled so clean and fresh! I'm a customer for life! It was 2021 and we were still in Covid hell when I needed a haircut. I remembered this salon because it always caught my eye when I was a customer of "Beauty Cult" next door. On a wing and a prayer I placed a call to Rooted. The owner called me back the same day and recommended Jeffrey Banks as my stylist. I had no idea that I'd just won the jackpot! I spoke to Jeffrey the next day and made an appointment to see him in a week or so. He is so talented & I left with knockout cut & color! I've been going back for more for 2 years straight.
