I think this is a great place they really help with mental health problems. I believe I improved a lot with my mental health since I have gone here. I recommend this place to others.

Just know they take your phone away.

Was a complete waste of 5k. Therapist were reading off websites. If you complain or mention that your not happy with the therapy you get questioned like the Spanish inquisition. We have even set up our own alumni group instead of the clear one because we all felt the same and no one ever addressed it with us. Save your money and try elsewhere

Staff/employees were very ableist and non-accommodating to disabled patients with sensory issues. Therapists and Psychiatrists were very condescending and rude — courses/classes “taught” information was directly pulled from public sites as YouTube, Healthline and Google: no original, clear, professional help.Other patients claim to enjoy being able to air personal issues out — no positives heard from the treatments themselves. Very poor quality help, and blatantly disrespectful — will restrain you from going home as well, if you don’t comply to their strict rules and regulations, that wasn’t given until after signing off your time and money to them. Don’t recommend.

The worst experience in my life , they treated you like a prisoner and they take your money without considering and talking with you even after you told them you are done and quiting, they just look for financial interests , so be careful before you sign any document's

I am so grateful to have received the care of Clear Recovery Center. The staff is extremely patient, friendly, and helpful. They try to meet each individual's needs with case managers and therapists, all the while putting an importance on group therapy. Group therapy gives individuals to connect with others and feel a sense of belonging and common humanity- that the suffering they are experiencing is unique, but is not so unique to the human experience.Lindsey gave me a warm greeting and encouraged me to overcome any fear of attending. She allowed me to feel safe enough to attend Clear. The staff was attentive while I was there, checking in on me constantly as well as giving me the opportunity to reach out to them during emergencies. They also follow up their care after the program by reaching out with check-ins and offering alumni sessions.Clear Recovery not only helped me with my struggles in my personal life but also my professional life. They helped me find balance in my life where I am able to function again in healthy relationships with friends and family, and as a professional. Everyday is met with various struggles, but I would not be the strong, resilient, and confident person I am today without Clear. I may have not even been around to know that there is hope, health, and clarity on the other side of care.

I can’t say enough about Clear Recovery. Their teen program changed my life, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. When I started at Clear Recovery, I had no friends, was totally shutdown and withdrawn and did not know how to communicate with the outside world. With the help of the people at Clear Recovery, I started high school with hope and belief that I could go on and make friends. With the help and caring staff at Clear Recovery, I am now a whole and confident, outgoing person with a bright future.

At the middle of last year, July 2022, my heart and soul decided that I needed to take a break. My body also had been pushed to the brink, working/parenting so hard day after day, that I didn’t even know day or month it was. When I was referred to Neuro Wellness Spa through my PCP, they then in turn recommended Clear Recovery Center. It was the best and most helpful decision I’ve ever made. I participated in the Virtual Outpatient Program and every specialist that I encountered was extremely qualified and nuanced in their approach. And even though every step was met with internal turmoil and grieving, I felt safe and protected through the entire process. The group sessions also gave a chance to learn from others’ experiences and a way where I felt I could give back by being supportive. I will never forget this time with Clear and am forever grateful for the chance to mend hurts and habits that had held me back from living my authentic life. One thing I have realized now that some months have past, is that I have learned to meet new obstacles with a changed mindset. All of those weeks and months of support and tactics/resources gained, have helped me in new ways to deal with life’s curveballs. I still feel pain and heartache, but they pass and I am much stronger and hopeful after the storm passes. Thank you…

DO NOT GO HERE. The director and staff put on a happy face but they really are quite dismissive, condescending, and disrespectful.I requested to attend their IOP but the direct refunded and stated they already billed my insurance and they couldn’t change it. So I was forced into their PHP program. (This should have been my first red flag ?)The therapists are only unlicensed interns. The director is the only one who is licensed. And the only one who can teach an EMDR class. But she is very reluctant to do so and when I strongly advocated with other patients she caved but was very rude, had a bad attitude during the entire experience. Which took away from being able to be there and present and learn what EMDR truly is.The PHP program was okay but they do not deliver what they advertise. I never had any yoga classes, no dance classes, and no art therapy classes. The curriculum is inconsistent without any apparent growth/goals in mental health subjects. They teach you about the different issues that may be affecting you but they NEVER give you the tools to properly cope/deal with them. You pretty much spend a day either watching the same Ted talks on repeat or in processing groups which is hard do to for 6 hours straight. They are not equips to treat adults with trauma or beyond trauma. I attended the AM adult sessions. However, they treated us like children. Making us lock up our phones and tablets/laptops. We could not use them for notes or on breaks. They did not allowed hats or beanies because they can be “gang affiliated” but they allowed bandanas of any color to be worn.As a Latina, I found this very offensive and stereotypical. They don’t allow you to have any coffee/caffeine but the staff will drink it in front of you.If you’re late they give you an assignment and make you sit out of group for the entire hour as punishment. I have never had a mental health facility or practitioner use negative punishment and negative reinforcement discipline methods. These are wildly ineffective. They never wanted to put on the heat so some days we would be freezing and need the extra gear, like beanies or hats.On the hot days they never like to turn on AC and at one point there were over 15 of us crammed in a tiny room without windows.Unfortunately I’ve not found any good mental health center in the South Bay but there a lot of great ones in LA.
