We usually stay here as our halfway stop on our road trips from Seattle to Anaheim and have been coming for the past 5 years.
This was the first time we experienced just okay front desk service at check-in, which was disappointing compared to our past stays.
The main issue this visit was the pool area. We specifically choose this hotel because of the long drive and because our son enjoys swimming. Unfortunately, the swimming pool and hot tub were very dirty and unclean, with a noticeable amount of bugs in the water. It honestly looked like the pool had been neglected for weeks. This is a newer hotel in a relatively nice area of Redding. The rooms were very clean, modern and had a nice feel to them. Bed was comfortable as well.
There is a restaurant attached to the hotel call Mosaic. Food and drinks were really good.
There was a QR code for ordering breakfast. It didn't work. I called room service multiple times, no answer.
Definitely not a bad place to stay if traveling up or down Interstate 5.
I have been visiting this establishment consistently for several years. It is situated in a tranquil area of Redding, adjacent to the Sundial Bridge. The staff members are exceptional and accommodating, displaying remarkable friendliness. During my stay, I attend the happy hour in the VIP lounge, and relax after work. Tanner has always been polite, accomodating, and fun to interact with. He has a relaxed and welcoming personality, easy to talk with. He is definitely one of the better employees at this location. Highly recommend the upgrade to access the VIP area!
