I didn't know what to expect. Honestly, I wasn't impressed by the space and location, but I was in a lot of pain with my legs and feet and I needed the deep tissue work for a while. Paul practices Eastern Medicine and I prefer the deep fascia release then some of the other softer work I have got from places that are spa like. Honestly, I was impressed. I felt absolutely relieved after our session. During our sessions, he did mention to me that he just had kidney surgery 4 weeks ago and is still out and about working on others. “My husband got a bedsore when he was in the hospital two years ago. We have been going to doctors and wound nurses ever since, trying to get it to heal, but the methods they have tried have not caused it to close. The wound is over the Achilles tendon and thus is not well served by blood, which complicates the healing.

We finally found this acupuncturist, Dr. Li, in Encino, who has training in the Chinese approach to healing wounds. We have only been going to her for a week, but already there has been significant growth of new, healthy flesh, and my husband's leg, which had significant inflammation, is looking healthier. Dr. Li is treating the wound with acupuncture, herbs, and electrodes. We are very encouraged with his quick progress, and wanted to pass our experience on to others who may be suffering with non-healing wounds.
