arrived just three minutes late with my child, and they refused to take me, saying they had to reschedule. They didn’t seem to care that I came on time with a little kid. The lady at the reception was also very rude and unprofessional. Really disappointing experience
The 4 stars rating is for the nurses that gave me formula samples. One nurse gave me about $150 worth of Enfamil formula. It's so helpful because some moms don't qualify for the free formula program. Another nurse only gave me 2 cans. These formula do expire so they shouldn't hold on to them and give them all away to us moms. I was given a large binder with about 100 pages of info about pediatric care. My "smart phone" can look up info in 2 seconds. Some signs posted on the door are meant to tell the patients that the doctors' time is more important than the patients' needs. Give this office a try but also try other offices that your plan covers. Don't feel like you have to stick with the same office/doctor.
Maybe your office has gotten too big for its' britches?? Ever since Stanford Children's Health took over, the last two years especially, the quality of this place has really gone down hill. We've been with the Pleasanton office for almost ten years and have been really disappointed with the incompetence and impersonal attitude from the front office lately. New silly charges (allergy form signed for school $10!), you need to check EVERYTHING before signing because of major mistakes, long waiting lines and Dr. waiting times (a simple well check can last two hours-beware!), and extreme difficulty scheduling appointments with my children's doctor. Also, every time we've been, we always have to answer the same redundant health questions that should be updated in your system the last 20 times. What's up with that? Very impersonal! Sadly, even our original awesome Pediatrician left a couple of years ago. We are happy to be finally switching to another health care provider. Please hire competent staff! Attitude, proper training, and competence of your staff represents your practice and sadly, it's not a good reflection.
