I chipped half of my front tooth off this morning, I tripped and it broke on a step. My daughter and I made several calls for emergency care. Dr Tran promptly called me back and spoke with me. She gave me an appointment time for 2 hours later which I was very happy with. She asked for a picture, meanwhile. She then called me back and gave me very helpful information about some options and also told me how to store the chipped off piece of tooth until my visit. I came to Dr. Chew and Dr. Tran's office a couple years ago after having a negative experience at another dentist's office. A coworker recommend them. After many visits, I have nothing but positive things to say. Everyone is kind and communicative. Dr. Tran and Olivia recently took care of cavity fillings I needed, and they were so efficient and great. Dental hygienists take the time to explain strategies to take care of your dental health. I also appreciate that they often let you know what they are about to do before they do it so you are engaged with the process. I'd recommend!

I usually don't look forward to my dentist visits. So I was surprised at feeling irritated when my late March appointment got postponed due to COVID. And annoyed when it was rescheduled not a month or two later, but over 6 months later while they figured things out. Well, I'm happy to report that they aced the figuring things out part - my appointment earlier this week was flawless. The practice sent a text reminder the day before with a clear check-in protocol, all staff wore proper masks, plexiglass safety shields were installed in the right places, and social distancing was enforced. I arrived on time and filled out a form certifying I was covid free. They did a temperature check and escorted me to the familiar surroundings of the room where I've had my teeth taken care of for a few years now. My usual hygienist Melinda and dentist Dr. Steven attended to me - consultation, X-Rays, cleaning, flossing, polishing, chit-chat - it felt so normal, I forgot we were in the middle of a global pandemic. Checking out was a breeze, I happily took some pictures for this review as I walked away. I can't wait to return in Spring, COVID or not!
