Pretty awesome 3rd place, lots of room, lots of activities to engage in. HOWEVER! The weight lifting equipment is average tier, don't expect to get jacked here. Severe lack of cable attachments and benches to move around. Also it's so eerily quiet I'm scared to sneeze.
The swimming lessons are hit or miss depending on the instructor. We have been coming for two summers now and finally found an instructor that works for us. Also the check in system at the door is a lot slower since last summer, mind you I have two kids with the same last name in a class of 4, so it shouldn’t take that long to verify their identities. I can’t speak to the rest of the facilities as we only use the pool.
Friendly YMCA. Equipment, locker rooms, and common areas are well maintained… it seems like they’re always cleaning! A vast array of fun fitness classes (water aerobics 6x/week) and members are considerate with equipment during busy times. My go-to YMCA when visiting my sissy in Concord.
