waited for ever for someone to show up to the gate but once we got in I was hooked honestly didnt expect the trails to be so well maintained and the views from the ridge were insane so many wildflowers still blooming which was a suprise for late season they also have this little creek spot that is perfect for cooling off after hiking up the big hill
the only thing that bugged me was the restroom situation because there is literally only one portapotty near the parking lot and it was kind of gross in there
definately worth the drive though if you want a chill afternoon walk with a killer payoff at the top, I came back two days in a row to catch the sunset
I choose this beautiful place because i can return back to earth as naturally as possible along with my husband. Return to soil and ash. I hope to be fertilizer for the plants above me.
Couldn't get the website to work so leaving this message here.Last Saturday (6/24/23) I visited my Mom and Dad's plots only to be disappointed by the condition of disrepair along the ground of their row.The lawn was dried up, and scraped off the plots, the head stone moved and left ajar, with a new hole dug next to the head stone.It appeared to me there could be some current ground work or irrigation work being done because other plots along the row also looked in poor shape.There were no signs to announce such work was being performed, or that the disrepair might be a temporary condition so that restoration to the sites would be completed soon.The grounds have always...read full review
