I can't say enough good things about Studio 55 and especially about Curtis! He is genuinely the nicest salon owner I've ever met. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and valued. Curtis is one of the best hairdressers in Pasadena. He is reasonably priced and listens to what you ask him to do. He will offer his advice if he is asked. He has fit me in his schedule many times over the years and even came to my place during the lockdown to cut my hair! I can't say enough good things about Curtis! Give him a try. I have been going to him for years now!
It's been a few years, but I ran into my notes from Curtis to bring to my new stylist when I moved back to FL and remembered him. Glad to see he's still going strong! Curtis did a great job on my short hair with covering some gray and adding highlights. He explained the why of everything when I looked at magazine photos that ultimately wouldn't work for my hair type. He was the kindest person when I was at a low point of having painful ankle surgery and being new and looking for a job in Pasadena/LA. His prices were reasonable and let me look good during such a challenging time. I will never forget his kindness and chance to look good without going into debt during such a challenging time in my life. I wish him only the best things!
