Dr. Willcox was my dentist for over thirty years. During covid my appointment was canceled and then at the end of the year of 2020 my husband and I needed to move to northern Arizona. Dr. Willcox is a thorough, honest, kind and soft spoken dentist. (And pretty much painless) He would always follow up with me after the hygienist cleaned my teeth. I miss him and his excellent staff. As yet I haven't found a dentist that measures up to him. I am still looking.
I've been seeing Dr. Wilcox for about 7 years and have had an excellent experience. His glowing reviews are well earned. I now have new insurance and have to pick another dentist, but the first dentist I went to wanted to charge me a $240 copay for cleaning my teeth! I spoke to Delta Dental about this and they encouraged me to file a formal complaint, which I have. They then gave me a list of other dentists I could see, but so far I have not been able to find one who doesn't have horrible things said about them online. Despite the fact I now need more work besides cleaning, I am considering paying cash to continue seeing Dr. Wilcox.
