I have complex Goldwood frames that require special lenses and are difficult to mount. I brought them into Wilby Optical on Monday 10/6/2025 with my new RX and they were ready Thursday 10/9/2025 - progressives done on site with great care and perfectly done! Thank you Wilby Optical! You are the best in the Bay.
I have been going to Wilby Optical for years now. They listen to me when I tell them what I want in glasses. They have adjusted my glasses several times at no charge when the COVID masks bent my Flexible frames out of shape. This time, I went for new lenses after a close encounter with a tree branch left a permanent scrape. Since it was a while since my last prescription, their eye doctor examined my eyes and wrote an updated prescription. They put the lenses into my old frames. Their service is outstanding. I plan to continue to have them provide glasses-related service for me
Wow, what an amazing find! During a Palo Alto visit this w/e, the screw came out of the hinge of my go-to glasses, so the arm fell off. I was desperate for a quick repair before boarding my flight home, & wandered into Wilby on a Sunday afternoon with high hopes but realistically low expectations. Carmela greeted me warmly, assessed the damaged, & quickly offered to make the repair. Within 10 minutes my glasses were fixed, & I couldn’t be happier with the finished product or the exemplary customer service Carmela provided.
