love wednesday night hop! so fun learning to dance, and I felt so comfortable there as a beginner and absolutely having ZERO experience.
I have taken 2 classes of the 8-count and 1 class of 6-count lindy hop.
Brian and Daniel are the best instructors ever!! they are are so funny, bring so much good energy and fun to the class. They always brought an inner happiness and childhood energy out of me! I also really enjoyed how they layered on the new moves. I honestly feel I did so much better in remembering and connecting different moves because of their teaching style, compared to other classes I've taken through WNH!
An amazing place to learn and dance Lindy Hop. The lessons are great both in terms of materials and instructions. There is a social dance after the lesson, which is a good place to practice. I wish it was not in the middle of the week, so that I could stay longer!
Love love love this community event. Every Wednesday, a group meets here for a series of dance classes that you can sign up for in advance or show up at the door and pay a little extra. From 7:15-8:15 PM is technical or social dance, usually geared towards those who already have some background in swing dance. Beginner classes last from 8:15-9:15 PM. And 9:30 onwards is social dance for everyone. If you have never tried partner dancing before, Wednesday Night Hop is a great way to get started. I'd recommend joining the beginner class series (4 weeks) to start, or if you don't want to commit, try out a teaser class any Wednesday of the month.
