Unfortunately this review isn't based off an actual haircut. I tired calling to set an appointment but the phone is disconnected according to Verizon wireless lol. So I decided to head over on my lunch break to see in person but strangely no one was inside and all the lights were off except the neon OPEN sign. Very confusing and weird. They also had their hours banner stating they are only closed on Sundays but surely this is not true. And went ahead and came back after an hour and still no one there. Is this business closed???

Curt really looked out and hooked me up, being booked all the way to closing and got me fresh by staying past closing. Do for as others do for you.

Today is the second time I've come to this shop during business hours and they've been closed. It is also the second time I've called ahead of time and the phone as disconnected. What is the point of posting on your website that the last walk in is at 5:30PM and that the shop closes at 7PM if you're just going to be closed? The TV was on and so were the lights so I know somebody was in there. Don't waste your time like I did mine.

Honestly, such a good haircut with good advice from the friendly team. They also just have a great vibe in the shop and I felt comfortable with a drastic change in length with advice from the team. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good haircut from experienced barber.

Words can't describe the incompetency within this shop. I've quite literally had the same experience all 3 times when I come into this shop. I walk in asking if they have ANYBODY that can cut my hair, ANYBODY. This later progresses into an hour of me sitting in a chair with promises of me being up next multiple times, only for me to be greeted with the same abhorrent question asked of me 2 prior times, "Eh man who you waitin fo?" I respond anybody, Im waiting on anybody, with Terry interjecting, "If you waiting for anybody its gonna be a minute, I seen "Anybody" in a while, don't know where he is at." What a great response. They then ask if I've been here before and I say yeah, stating Terry cut my here last. Cue the 5 minute diatribe of Terry telling me how "Barbershops" do it, and he doesn't know where they do it where I come from, but there a universal way of doing things, a barber cuts your hair and you keep coming back to the same barber in that shop. I've moved around every 3 to 4 years, including to a different country and haven't heard something so d**** Sure this "Barbershop" will be around for a minute.Edit: I think the response from the owner is quite demonstrative of what I was saying. The fact a grown man wrote "haha" that many times is quite sad. Hopefully he understands how to run a business one day - From one of the 10 black people in this area, which is really sad. Most likely this Terry is one of the black people that grew up here, not understanding anything actually outside of his small California reality.
