My son started with Isabelle when he was seven. At that time, he had been learning piano for 1.5 years with other teachers, and started to struggle as the pieces got harder. We started with Isabelle to see if a new teacher could bring a difference. It did! Her patience with kids is exceptional. Isabelle's focus on building a strong foundation ensures that her students develop solid skills. For example, she worked with my son on sight reading in the beginning of every class and little by little my son's sight reading improved so much. I can't say nice enough things about Isabelle. We relocated for a year to Palo Alto, and we found Isabelle so our daughter could continue her piano lessons. Isabelle welcomed here, even knowing she would just be with her for a year.Our daughter's progression with Isabelle was nothing short of remarkable. She is a remarkable teacher who knows how to meet students where they are while also getting them to grow and improve. Our daughter always looked forward to her lesson and truly thrived. Her passion for piano today is surely in large part due to Isabelle's teaching!
Isabelle is a phenomenal piano teacher. My son said, "You should definitely give her five stars!" I'm so glad we found her. She is patient, kind, very knowledgeable, and she does a great job motivating her students. She is attentive to detail and classical piano technique -- she wants to ensure that students develop excellent habits early so they will be stronger pianists as they grow and develop. Recitals are a pleasure to attend to see how all of her students are progressing and love working with her. Strongly recommend Isabelle!
