SVBE does amazing work for the community and I highly encourage you to both go there if you are looking for a great value bike, to volunteer your time, money and/or to donate items that you don't need - I'm looking at you riders with expensive bikes and parts that will ever get used again (i'm in that category!!) to keep this place going.
Been volunteering here for a while now. Coming weekly. Absolutely amazing atmosphere that promotes teaching and values community, and service. So inspired by the mission. Thank you Dave Fork and everyone for their super duper hard work behind the scenes. Could not recommend coming here to volunteer here more.
A great organization to donate your bikes as well as your time and resources. They refurbish used bikes and donate them to individuals in need and sell them to the public. You can donate your time and learn how to fix bikes.
