Had a wonderful experience at Saloniste! Galen gave me a fantastic haircut — my hair feels so much lighter and healthier — and styled it perfectly, with a blowout & waves. He was also a delight to chat with, and the salon is stunning! Will definitely come back next time I’m in Palm Springs :)

After a disappointing experience with another salon that left me with damaged hair, wasted money, and plenty of tears, I am so grateful to have found Jason.
Jason is not only an exceptional colorist, but he also truly cares about his clients. He listens carefully to what you want, ensures you are happy with the results, and always prioritizes the health of your hair. His warm personality and genuine care make every visit enjoyable. The salon is spotless, and unlike most places, you won’t smell harsh bleach or chemicals—it feels fresh and non-toxic. Jason also uses his husband’s incredible hair mask brand, which smells amazing and leaves your hair silky and strong. If you’re looking for beautiful, healthy hair and a stylist who goes above and beyond, Jason is the one. I left feeling uplifted, confident, and full of compliments from friends and family. Highly recommend!

So many great reviews - and I had a friend's referral and sadly this salon was a big miss. I made an appointment more than a week in advance and also emailed the salon to reconfirm and got an email from Galen confirming the time. I showed up on time and all Galen had to say was I was not in the book. Several times - no apology - and he let me know it would be 1/2 hour before he could cut my hair. I waited, even though I wanted to leave because there were many red flags - namely that I had to call about 6X to get someone on the phone to actually make an appointment - and I had left messages! When it finally came to my cut - it was one of the worst I've had. Galen was obviously distracted as I asked him not to cut the top of my hair and he did so anyway - thankfully I was able to stop him before he frizzed up my hair with a thinning shear. He did apologize toward the end of the cut - saying he needed to do better - but that seemed really hallow coming from a business owner. Needless to say despite all the great reviews and a referal from a friend I will not be back.

I love what Ramon did! I have received numerous compliments on the cut and color! Ramon was gentle with my hair as he was brushing, cutting and coloring it. It has been a long time since my hair laid and moved this way. The copper color he suggested and used shimmers in the sun! If you are seeking a stylist that will pamper you and treat you like the queen you are, I highly recommend Ramon! I am in love with my hair. Thank you, Ramon! I appreciate my transformation.

While visiting PS, I saw Saloniste and desperately needed a hair cut. Luckily, Carl was available and corrected some major issues with my previous hair cut. Carl made a mess into a beautiful new style. Made me feel carefree and classy again! So if you are looking for the best, come to Saloniste and ask for Carl. He will make a new you! Best cut/style, hands down! Also Saloniste has a wonderful, happy vibe and the hair products used work well on my hair. Thanks for creating a great environment to offer pro hair services in PS.

Carl was absolutely amazing to me and treated me very well being my first time. I have tried over 3 other salons in Palm Springs alone for my regular wash/blow treat (I have ethnic, curly hair and like to have it straight sometimes) and by far he gave me the best look i’ve gotten since! He knows his craft through and through, asked & paid keen attention towards what I wanted in my final blow-dry look, and was also educating me on new tips for maintaining/styling my type of hair with great detail. It’s clear he loves what he does and I cannot thank him enough for making me feel amazing and pretty after our session!
