I felt guided, appreciated and my optometry needs were professionally addressed. I look forward to getting my new glasses when they arrive.

I will not be going back to Acuity.
I moved to the valley in late 2025. I wanted to have all my eye specialists in one office after having three different locations at my former location. My first appointment for and eye exam and new glasses was horrible. I have extenuating circumstances (retinal scar and floaters), and I felt like Dr. Kelsch did not listen and was just rushing me so as to get to the next patient. I tried to tell him that my issues cause me to struggle to see accurately. I picked up my new glasses a few weeks later, and they didn't really check to see if they fit correctly or that the progressive lenses were correct. I cannot use the glasses because I believe the prescription is incorrect. I went back for an appointment a few weeks later for an examination for my other conditions (retinal degeneration and cataracts). At my former specialists for these conditions, I felt there were always fairly thorough. At former location, my appointment lasted was about 2 - 2.5 hours. At Acuity, I was in and out in less than an hour. I also was taken aback when they performed some routine exams again even though it had been just a few weeks since my initial exam.
I would avoid Acuity at all cost.

The doctor was very thorough and cross checking of his previous prescription. Changed his findings slightly for better fitting of the contacts. They are quick at seeing you within about 10 minutes of your appointment time. Staff is very helpful. Nothing comes to mind that is at all negative. I would recommend the services they offer to others!

I would rather scoop my eyes out of my head with a spoon and be permanently blind than ever have to set foot in the PS Acuity Eye Group office ever again. I've spent 6 months try to get my two pair of glasses. So far, the perscription was wrong and I had to go back, the lenses were made wrong and I had to go back, the frames I received were defective and I had to go back, the frames broke within two weeks time, and I had to go back. It took five months and at least six visits to finally get my glasses right. And I had to give up on my original choice of frames because I just couldn't stand it anymore. Then I had an appointment with the opthamologist for another issue and waited two months to get in to see Dr Grewal. The girl at the front desk who greeted me told me I had an appointment for a vision test! I just went through all that to get my glasses! She went on her computer several times telling me when I was supposed to be coming to see Dr Grewal in March. I told her that isn't possible, I know why I was there. She insisted. I almost left. Then I asked her to please check if she had the correct patient. I had told her my name twice already. Then she finally asked my birthday. That should be done right at the beginning. She gave me a different person's last name and said wasn't that me?? What? Her reasoning was that there were more than one people with my first name. Can you imagine what a coincidence? My name is not uncommon. Dr Grewal was unbelievably obtuse during my visit. He sat in the corner of the room with his back to me the whole time and asked me the same repeated questions about why I was there. He asked me to describe what I had wrong with my eye over and over and over again. I finally told him that if he just turned around and came to look at my eye he would see it for himself. Simple. I don't know what is wrong with the staff and Dr's in the office, but every time I have been at Acuity Eye Group in Palm Springs it was a horrible experience with one problem after another and staff disasters. Still shaking my head in disbelief over my experiences.

Great staff and friendly service just needs better access for handicap mobility. People needed help opening doors with wheelchair. And getting to and from entrance.

Making the appt was simple, however no digital paperwork, and most importantly NO disclosure beforehand or when I arrived that this would be a virtual appointment. I question the ethics of this and the efficacy of a virtual appointment, especially in eye care, and without me deciding if that was okay for me. When the person helping me offered to let me speak to the manager, the manager declined as they were ‘busy’ with training. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
