Thank you again, Janine, for your guidance and support with our new little guy. The techniques you recommended to help with Indy's anxiety and lack of confidence have strengthened our relationship with him and they are a lot of fun! It's been rewarding to see his progress.

I have 2 teacup/toy maltipoos. Poppy is 3y and Skipper is 1y old. We love to take our girls on outings through town including lunch and shopping. At home Poppy barks at new people coming into the house and then shortly after they enter, she stops. Skipper Pip on the other hand is a grand AHOLE that will continually bark till our guest sits down or stops moving and it starts back up when they start moving again. ‍ I can say that nothing I did worked to stop or curb this little booger from barking. I watched countless videos and NOTHING WAS WORKING! I created a tiny monster. I finally had had enough and sought out a professional. I found Janine here on the internet. I didn't really know what to expect or how hard this was going to be. I didn't care, I needed help and was willing to do whatever an expert would tell me to do. Getting to know Janine and working with her has been super easy. I listed in detail all of the behavior issues that I have with Skipper but mostly it's the constant barking. Lord have mercy on my ears. The first visit is an assessment, explanation of how your dog thinks and how they understand you, and for us; some basics to start getting *operation no more barking* underway. Janine is very thorough so you understand both human and dog points of view. I really like this comprehensive approach. She trains you to train your dog so that your pet can thrive. Janine is not a cookie cutter style dog trainer. She is adaptive in finding what works best for you and your pooch. This is just the hands on learning Skipper and I needed. Skipper's Results after working with Janine: *No longer barks when in public (on leash or in a stroller.) *No longer barks at the gardeners or pool guy. *Walks on a leash with ease w/zero pulling.*Knows the difference between Working Walk and Leisurely Walk. *Does not freak out at other dogs. Is perfectly calm and confident that I will not let anything happen to her. *No longer licks paws unless right before bed.*Significantly less anxiety overall.

Janine is an excellent trainer and a true professional. I have trained with her for general issues and for competition with my dogs for several years and she is one of the best I've ever worked with. She is highly skilled in animal behavior and very insightful in solving problems. It's very hard to find a trainer with her level of knowledge and experience. She is also a very nice person and a lot of fun to work with. I highly recommend Janine.

Janine was just what we needed to help us with our 1 year old pit bull pup, Olive. Janine's method of using food as an incentive and adding clear body language and signals made such a difference! We noticed a change almost immediately. We learned how to better communicate with Olive, which was such a blessing! We would highly recommend Janine to anyone looking to get some help with their dog.

In one session Janine helped us create a way to distract our young Mastiff when he would incessantly bark at workers in our yard or kids playing out in the front. Of course it's still a process but she taught the humans how to respond to his behaviors so he settles down rather than becoming more agitated. She spent a lot of time getting to know us and the dog and understand the dynamics of the family. I would definitely recommend her.

He's a joy to take for walks now and thanks to her patience I've been trained to make good choices for both of us. We had a very useful virtual 90-minute appointment with Janine in which we covered several issues requiring some guidance with our new 3-month old puppy. We sent her a short video in advance that captured some antics & misbehaviors of our little darling Cavapoo. She outlined steps we needed to take in some scenarios and gave us optimism in othet cases that we are heading in the right direction with a couple of tweaks here & there. We highly recommend Janine Allen because she helped us with our requests as well as those we didn't think to ask that she knew would be helpful. We appreciated her positive attitude; it gave us the encouragement we needed.

Janine is highly skilled at dog obedience training and also at solving behavioral problems. These are two different areas of dog education, requiring different techniques. We adopted our dog from a rescue organization and discovered that he had some behavioral issues that needed to be addressed. We are now successfully working with Janine to solve these problems. Her deep experience in animal training is yielding excellent results, and I could not recommend her more strongly.

I had an 8 year old Lab that was the best dog except for her “possession aggression” where she didn’t want to share toys or balls with other dogs and would literally growl and started a fight once about it. I was so bummed because so many trainers told me there was nothing I could do until I met Janine. She worked with Holly for a few months and taught me how to work with her and the results were amazing. Holly actually ignored Janine’s dogs when they took her toys. I was so happy and pleased and Holly was so much more relaxed. She loves dogs more than any person I’ve ever met and they respond to her with glee and happiness and she can train the toughest cases. Be sure you are ready to do your part and you will fall in love with your changed dog and her results.
