I have a complicated eyes and Dr Mcmahill’s prescription has been perfect over the years. I split my time between the desert and elsewhere - each time I have gotten tested elsewhere I end up wanting to return to Dr. Mcmahill for a better prescription. I get my prescription filled at Park View Optical in Cathedral City, a top notch Optical shop with great service.

The Doctor was great and the equipment is great. Staff at greeting is very cold, not friendly. Even though we are regular customers at Costco optometry, his staff-took a while to find our previous visit information. Again, the support staff for the optometrist scores low in my opinion. The Costco staff where you get fitted for glasses and make the purchase order however is efficient. Costco offers great value in their selections and they keep glasses lense costs down.

My husband and I had an exam with Michelle Zaw. She was very professional and I would go back to see her again. The assistant techs were also very nice. My low stars are based on the first person that you see when you walk in the door. The front desk girl. She wore no name tag, she was wearing lots of makeup and actually had a pretty face, but she was very rude. She blamed my husband and I for not telling her that we had insurance when it came down to pay. He was so upset that he left the lobby and went out to the waiting area.
