Desert Oasis Healthcare Immediate Care - Palm Desert

My 94 year old mother has had multiple multiple visits for various reasons and has had steller care each and every time. Wait times have been very reasonable and staff are thoughtful, kind and caring. Dr’s were empathetic, well versed in every aspect of her needs gave reliable care.

Thank you so much to Dr Mauthe and staff. My dad came in earlier this week having breathing issues. Though you initially wanted him to go to the ER, after finding out that would be tricky for him, you and the team did everything, and I mean everything, possible to treat him.

I am so impressed with the care, attention, and detail put into treating my dad. Just a few days later he is feeling so much better.

I’m speaking for both my dad and myself that we are so grateful.

He knows now to not wait if he starts feeling poorly again. But as for now, he is on the mend.

My experience at this facility in Palm Desert was absolutely fantastic from the front desk checking you in the two ladies there were so sweet and very nice and helpful to the gentleman that was The Nurse. I don’t know what his name is, but he was very cordial and excellent as well. I went to the urgent care in Palm Springs and was misdiagnosed. Then I went to an ER in Burbank and misdiagnosed however yesterday after having an issue for over a month I was diagnosed by Dr. Heather. She was absolutely amazing. She gave me a prescription that worked immediately and I probably had one of the best days or nights sleep and no pain in over a month and a half. Great great great facility great great Dr. Heather she was awesome.

Much more of a mirage than oasis! Our 4 year old went to bed New Year’s eve with extreme ear pain and was up all night. Being NY Day very little was open and we tried everywhere. My wife made an appointment online and when she showed up with our crying and clearly in pain son they told her it was busy and they might not be able to fit her in. Then when they told her they didn’t take Aetna and she offered her CC to pay out of pocket they told her they don’t do that. Zero help horrible demeanor and overall lack of empathy, my wife had to drive 30 mins away to find a doctor that was open. Stay away!!

I always go out of my way to visit this location and feel confident that they will address my needs and make me feel at ease. They are extremely efficient & most importantly a very clean facility. If you need to reach them by phone you don’t have to go through a lengthy call tree & that too is a plus!

I travel from Indio just to go to this urgent care!!

DOHC Palm Desert Immediate Care is the place to go when you are feeling muy mal. The important thing about DOHC is that they care. They have helped restore me on numerous occasions.

Every time I go to this urgent care, from front office to the medical personnel, they’ve made me feel like this is a place I can trust anything related to my health. They are so human, caring. I just have a special mention to Nurse Amanda, she was so loving and caring when the doctor (which he was extremely nice with me as well) was taking care of my finger (I cut it) I had to get some stitches and I was getting anxious, even though the pain, they made this process very smooth for me. Thank you so much!!!!

They help me, are beyond competent, organized, rarely a long wait. Dr. Mauthe listens and really helps every time we’ve seen her. All of the doctors my elderly mother and I have seen there have been really great, caring, and give thorough aftercare instructions while explaining everything carefully. Highly recommend.
