Was scheduled for my annual Mammogram with a requisition from my doctor that was sent directly to them that I did not ever see. When I got there the Tech told me that she gave me the Diagnostic/Digital Mammogram (upgraded and more accurate) since my Health Provider covered it. I didn't know any different so said thanks for doing that. A month later I get a bill for $429 from Desert Advanced Imaging for the Diagnostic Mammogram - that apparently my Health Provider did NOT cover. Should us women not be getting the best and most advanced Mammogram done in the first place? I can totally agree with the two star rating already accumulated at this facility. Rushed, rude and unfriendly front desk. Asked if I had an appointment upon approaching the desk. My check in was 10 minutes prior to my appointment,.sent to me via email. No.good morning, or hello. Front desk staff scolded me that I was late, yet when I produced their email that showed check in and appointment times I was dismissed and got an eye roll. My paperwork was all done the days prior to my arrival, and no delay was encountered. Email stated NO CONTRAST, yet they advised me when I was being seated it was ordered. My appointment was not delayed, I was seen at the time I was scheduled to be seen. Everyone I spoke with was pleasant and nice, from the front desk, to the Radiologist Tech and the Radiologist. Having pleasant people, even at a short visit, helps when you have fear or anxiety of anything to do with medical care! I don't give five stars to anyone, because no one is perfect. No reflection on these people at all, that all get an A from me!!!
