“I had not had a dental cleaning in quite a long time.. I had an appointment with their dental hygienist Maureen. I have very sensitive teeth and was a bit nervous. Maureen took the time to make me feel comfortable and numbed my mouth with some great topical product. I felt like my cleaning was super thorough and comfortable. My teeth felt so good after and I was not embarrassed to smile!?. The front desk Marrissa worked with me to get an appointment to fit in my work schedule and made it happen. I’m so grateful for the team at Portola Dental and cannot recommend them enough. Truly skilled and caring office. Thank you Dr Aslani, Marrissa, and Maureen for making my experience top notch.“

Dr. Tran isn’t my direct doctor but the times I’ve interacted with him he’s been very friendly, he’s my moms dentist! My dentist is Dr. Dewenter and he always explains everything clearly and gives me options that work best for me as well as his opinion on what would be best! Brenda is my hygienist. She always does great cleanings and she’s helped me improve my gum health slowly but surely. I used to have such a big fear and anxiety towards being at the dentist but I always look forward to seeing this team! I recommend them to all my friends, family, & coworkers.“

“Been going to Total Care Dentistry for the last 6 years. The office is a very smooth running machine. I love the staff and hygienists, that’s primarily why I stuck with them. Look, there are A LOT of dentists offices in the desert that are franchises of large conglomerates with poor service, sales pressure and high hygienist turnover. Dr. Kim’s office is an independent business and Dr. Kim cares for his patients and staff as a small business owner. Dr. Daddio retired, and he was a good general dentist so I was sad to see him go, but Dr. Kim has continued in that spirit and the office still does good work.“

“I was a recent patient here having seven teeth pulled and a full set of new dentures. I really can't imagine to the process going any better and I simply could not be happier with the dentures. I can eat anything, the fit is perfect, they look natural, it was painless AND they were affordable. Bonus, I will not need implants. They fit so well I use no adhesive on the uppers and only a few dabs on bottom. I am eating steak, ribs, and corn on the cob again for the first time in ages and I like it!“

“The best experience for my young son. He is 5 and has never had any fillings until today. Dr. Okamoto is a magician with the numbing, my son didn't feel it at all! He went through the whole process of filling the cavity and placing the filling with literally no movement from my son. It was seamless!! I was so worried because my son is not good with pain but this process went so smoothly I can't believe it!! We were in and out in 20 minutes. The staff is also so nice and welcoming! I'm so so glad we found a great dentist, I wish I could also go here haha“
