What a hidden gem… my girlfriend and I stopped in on our way to the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market and Laria greeted us right away and was so fun to talk to. Their setup is beautiful in a concise space. And check out these turf animals. ? so fun. Absolutely worth making a destination if you’re looking to explore plant shops/garden centers around LA. I haven’t seen the other locations yet since we are new to CA, but I would imagine they’re even larger and executed equally well. 11/10 would recommend.
Jordan was so helpful in our initial consultation - he was happy to discuss the best options for our backyard project, including trees, plants, trellises, pergolas, and irrigation. He answered our many questions via calls and texts, sent prompt quotes, and continued to update us and accommodate changes as the installation got closer. Jose and the installation team were quick, informative, and thorough during the two-day installation. We love our many trees and they're thriving thanks to the irrigation system they fixed (initially broken from another construction project)!
I obtained three estimates to remove approximately 650 sq.ft. of turf in front of my house and replace it with an array of drought tolerant plants. I had a budget of $10,000 for the project. Jordan worked with me, making substitutions and changes in design. We also agreed to use some of my existing plants in order to stay within my budget. I knew that I wanted two focal points in my final design and Jordan was able to locate both 30 gallon size plants from one of his nearby nurseries.
