“I had fibroids and I was referred to Dr. Mehta by my gyno. The whole situation I was very nervous and still learning to process however I am very thankful for Dr. Mehta and his team. Dr. Mehta took a look @ my fibroid situation and confirmed to me that I was (thankfully) a candidate for the minimally invasive surgery to remove them. He was very thorough in explaining his method of what he would do during surgery and what I could expect, before, during and post surgery. I felt at ease with him and his confidence in helping me through the surgery. He is also patient to answer any and all questions - the only thing is that it seems to be booked up (so I did wait on different occasions despite having an appt) but it was fine as long as I felt I was getting quality care, attention and help from a specialist. Everything went swimmingly with my myomectomy surgery and even my friends remark what a great surgeon he was (the scars, while there, were indeed minimal). I'd recommend anyone who's dealing w awful fibroids to consult with Dr. Mehta - as scary as it is to go through surgery, he really knows what he's doing and takes care of his patients! Also, he has very good bedside manners and it feels uplifting/positive tone after my interactions and appts with him while still maintaining a straightforward, honest discussion.“
