Dr Zhang Tong is an incredible acupuncturist. I’ve had acupuncture in the US for over 12 years and he’s easily the best. We’re working on fixing a 20 year knee injury that I’ve had surgery on. For new patients, please trust him and his process and don’t hesitate to provide verbal feedback during sessions as that is key for him to understand what’s hurting and how much pressure to put during the massage portion of the session.

Dr. Zhang is AMAZING. I have a chronic, extremely difficult to treat soft tissue injury for almost a decade. I've seen many physicians and acupuncturists and can say without hesitation that Dr. Zhang has been the most proficient in diagnosing and treating the issue so far. In every visit, it is extremely clear that he is singularly focused on resolving the issue in as cost effective a manner as possible. He is incredibly caring and also dedicates time outside of his clinic teaching the next generation of TCM practitioners. I make the 45 minute trek from San Francisco every week (and sometimes multiple times a week) to see Dr. Zhang.

I was having random nerve pain all throughout my hands due to trimming pot for years. 2-3 weeks later after one session it completely went away. I've tried to be cheap and go to other acupuncturists and its a waste of time. I've been back for back pain and for my forearm from playing guitar. Also, sometimes you leave in more pain that will last for a few hours but after a couple weeks its like nothing ever happened. I would fly across the country to see him. Hes a straight up healer. I tell everybody I know about him.
