The Women's Vitality Center has been a life changer! I began getting perimenopause symptoms, including heavy bleeding and cramping causing fibroids, and was receiving very little support from my health provider. The fibroids weren't even identified initially - instead of suggesting an ultrasound, I was told I needed a biopsy, which was incredibly painful. After receiving results that suggested I had polyps and without checking my hormones, I was given canned responses about what birth control and surgery I needed. It's been quite the journey learning to listen to and care for my body in ways that support health and vitality - definitely an evolution, not a revolution - and I can say for sure I could not have done it without Dr. Amy Day and The Women's Vitality Center.I still have my challenges, particularly as things continue to shift, hormonally, in middle-age, but everything is so much better than it was, and, at 56, I am better in many ways than I was at 46... or even 36.
