This is the best place to go for custom made furniture! About 6 years ago he made bookcases for me. They have gone through a cross country move, into storage, out of storage, moved to 3 cities, into storage and now out of storage and they look like he made them yesterday. They are made with really high quality and reasonably priced. I highly recommend his services for anything having to do with wood.

We found Greg on yelp and so wanted to add our review as we also had a wonderful experience working with him. He built beautiful custom bookcases to fit on either side of our fireplace. He was easy to communicate with, came over and measured our sloping floors and baseboards which he cut the bookcases to fit around, delivered and set up the final product and made sure it was level and perfect. Beautiful craftsmanship, reasonable prices and a lovely and easy-going guy who took his time to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted.

We loved working with Greg. He was diligent, hardworking, knowledgable and kind. He showed up when he said he would and earnestly worked with us to understand what we wanted. We asked for a bookshelf that looked like it could have always been at our nearly 100 year old home and that would provide more much needed storage. He delivered on both. Additionally he kept to his initial quote (and we kept to our initial scope) so it was nice not to have the amount that he quoted us change when the project was finished. I would highly recommend this business and if you live in the East Bay, it's particularly nice to support a local craftsman who has been honing his trade for some time and while not the least bit boastful, is 100% knowledgable in his craft.
