This was my first time here. I saw Marian Miranda who is their esthetician. After doing some research, I decided to get The Perfect Derma peel which is a well known American brand. I've had some very stubborn sun spots on both upper cheeks that wouldn't budge despite different gentle lightening creams and serums. I have sensitive skin so I can't use anything too strong but my skin barrier is pretty healthy due to a recent facial fat transfer which has my stem cells in it. I even had Renuva injections and though my skin looks pretty healthy, it was still somewhat dull and the sun spots which originated from my time in the sun persisted. The peel itself takes only 5 minutes to apply. Marian asked me if I wanted the peel on my neck too but we decided that I didn't need it. Most of the time was spent cleaning my skin for the peel. The peel chemical smells like antiseptics from a hospital and it stays with you. I'm not supposed to wash my face until the next day but it does self neutralize after 6 hours. I met the doctor briefly who told me they have several medium peels including a new one from Italy that doesn't actually peel visibly ( I think it's called the Blue Peel). The Perfect Dermal peel without boosters here is 250 which is actually a very reasonable price. I may return for a second one if this one goes well. Back to the peel itself, there was zero pain. It felt like ice on my skin. There was some tingling but that was it. The tingling subsided quickly. Again, I don't think my skin is normal due to the fact that I have recently had a facial fat transfer. My face immediately looked a few shades more red and it became very dry and tight and I looked ten years older. Luckily my large hat hid my face well and I was able to have dinner right after inside a restaurant without being noticed. Marian was very friendly and made me feel very relaxed. The room and bed was very comfortable and they have various teas here to drink while waiting. The receptionist was also very friendly. I noticed that Marian took my credit card and didn't ask me to sign anything so I wasn't asked for a tip which is a nice change. I've only been to surgeons' offices recently for my beauty needs so I assume a medical spa is similar in terms of not asking for a tip. Overall, it was a great experience and it felt professional which is the most important thing of all when dealing with chemicals and other potentially risky procedures.

I've been to a number of medspas all over the Bay Area for a range of services and treatments. I recently picked this location with Dr V initially for the moxi laser with micro needling. It was comforting that Dr V really got into technical specifics, proves she knows her stuff! I was super pleased with the results and surprised how short the down time was compared to past fraxel laser treatments I've received. I've since also received a diamond glow facial and will be returning for regular Botox treatment. Dr V's staff are friendly and welcoming.

I have had a terrific experience with Dr Vasanwala. She is very knowledgable about a variety of anti-aging options and listens carefully. She recommended Sculptra based on my priorities and the results have already been good. A great option for anyone interested in anti-aging treatments of any kind.
