This is a place that I have loved since I was in college. It’s amazing to see how much the Center has grown in the last 6 years and the resources it offers to our LGBTQ Community in Oakland are deeply needed.

Pleased that Mr. Hawkins has decided not to elevate corrupt and disgraced attorney, Allysyn Overton after she attempted to use their community center as a platform to practice her performative allyship while disenfranchising the community in private. The victims of Allysyn Overton are grateful that we were listened to and your willingness to not promote her agenda to make herself seem like a decent person will ensure she can't steal from or harass more people. Thank you!

With a number of community-serving programs, this center is an outstanding resource for Oakland's LGBTQIA population. The staff are extraordinarilly friendly and helpful. The center even features a community health clinic offering wellness support and consultation. They currently are offering monkeypox vaccination free to the public. A real plus for Oakland, all around.
