Had a bad knot on my back close to right shoulder. Gave this spot a try to see if they can get rid of it. Masseuse applied medium pressure, not a big fan of hard pressure since no one wants to walk away from the massage feeling even more sore. Two massage techniques masseuse did that I liked was work on my fore arm and calves: Rubbed fore arm to hand like horizon raising the bar notion and it felt great when she cracked and loosen up my hand. Applied same technique to the calves; relaxing ankle rub and helped stretched the hamstrings a little. Only reason why place did not get 5 stars was because of extremely small parking lot (you're better off just parking on street)...read full review

Do not let the exterior environment of a strip mall in China Town, Oakland fool you. The messages here are 1st rate! Gonger walked on my back and cracked it in several places so expertly, I thought I was in Chiropractic heaven. Better music and I was nagged for a bigger tip (like $40 isn't enough?) Otherwise this place would have gotten 5 stars easy.
