I’ve been getting massages with Marcelina regularly for half a year and I can’t recommend her enough! Marcelina really emphasizes approaching pain holistically and is so knowledgeable about what she does. I love hearing about the different strategies and philosophies she’s learned — you can tell that she is always working to improve her skills and really cares about her craft. I’ve seen noticeable improvements in the tension throughout my body/muscles after every session. :)
I can't recommend Marcelina highly enough. If friends or family recommend a massage therapist, this is who I tell them about!
I've been seeing her for a number of years and feel well-cared for every time I go. I've recently had prenatal massages with her, and I continue to appreciate her skill and focus on deep breathing throughout the session. It's a very relaxing and healing experience overall. I've gone to other places in Oakland that have more affordable prices, but none are at the level of Marcelina. Worth every penny in my book.
