Lan's Hair Style & Nail Care is a great place for shampooing and conditioning, particularly for African American hair. The service is highly regarded, with customers praising the speed, quality, and the ability to handle all types of hair. The business has a reputation for getting customers in and out promptly. Both Lan and her staff are experienced with Black hair and are true, old-school beauticians. The service is efficient and affordable. The end result is a super healthy look with a great flatiron. It is a great experience. They are quick on the hair for a wash, flatiron, and trim. The shop is not the cleanest and they only take cash, but in a pinch, you will be pleased.
Been going here for 10+ years. It's affordable and you go in and come right out. Every time I get a Flat iron it looks like a perm. Lan has perfected her craft. My hair is super thick and they never cause me any pain when detangling my hair. The hair wash is BOMB too.
From the shampooer to the hair stylist they are all very good at what they do. The prices change based upon the hair length and style. You do have the option to come in with your hair pre-washed. Even those prices vary, and are still a bit more expensive than one would think. Based upon that fact I typically let them do everything. My hair is longer than bra strap in length, so it cost me nearly $80 to get my hair done. The great thing about it is that they're very fast. Even with my hair it took less than hour and a half. They aren’t just stylists, they are true, old-school beauticians. I needed someone to do my hair after being canceled on one morning and I found them. I walked in and they got started on my hair right away.
I didn’t know it was cash only so after getting my hair washed and slightly blown dry, I was allowed to go get money from the bank and return to the salon to complete my service.
The staff were super nice and quick on my hair. I ended up getting a wash, flatiron, and trim. I’m writing this nearly 2 weeks later and my hair is still looking super healthy.
