Kaiser Permanente Medical Center: Frisby Shayla A MD - PERMANENTLY CLOSED

A year ago I was diagnosed with a melanoma by a Kaiser dermatologist. Although the surgery was excellent and everything went well, there was no follow-up from the dermatology department. I recently tried to get an appointment about some concerning growths, and was told that I would have to wait several months. My own doctor was no help with getting an appointment sooner. After I insisted with the dermatology department, I got an appointment in a few weeks. Worst hospital I have ever visited. I traveled all the way from Hawaii and not one doctor or nurse talked to me after the procedures and treated me like a name and number. They did not even have a list of my allergies and after spending thousands of dollars on tests, airfare, and lodging for me and my companion never even addressed my condition. My referring doctor was on vacation and no one even told me I could go home so we had to stay an additional five days before we could get Kaiser to arrange for travel home. I am so grateful to the surgeons, doctors who worked hard and nurses and staff who helped my stepmom with stage 3 cancer tongue cancer for 2 years! And she made it and got back to normal after all we love you guys!
