I started going to Joyce around 2014 or 2015. I had gotten a pixie cut back then and was wanting to grow my hair back out without it looking too awful and awkward. I was fortunate enough to stumble across Joyce who helped me make the transition back to longer hair, smoothly and painlessly. At every stage of hair length, my hair had never looked so good!!! I found Joyce years ago, and now I travel across a bridge to still get my hair cut by her. I tried several other stylists since moving to the city, but none have been as good with my hair or such a pleasure to spend time with. My husband discovered her salon on his own; only after he came home raving about his experience did we realize that we'd found the same person! Joyce is the best, and I recommend her to everyone I know.

I have been going to Joyce for 20 years -- followed her from the chain where she started to her own place on Piedmont. She's great. I've never had a bad haircut from Joyce -- she's efficient and no-nonsense and with a great eye and terrific "bedside manner." My mother in law and neighbor and his son all are now her clients, too. She's also just a good person. Highly recommend.
