I agree with the other reviewer: everything about this launderette is excellent. The people are lovely, they do excellent work, the prices are low, and they always remember how I like my clothes done. And when I disappeared for a year with no explanation, they kept my clothes for me the whole time. Eventually they called me just to let me know they still had my clothes.
Please be patient and continue to support this place as they sort through their dryers being down!!! Update to my previous review: despite telling me the turn-around would take 5-6 days, I was surprised with a phone call 3 hours after dropping off my items that they were ready. They so appreciated that I was understanding about their circumstances and didn't want to disappoint me as a first-time customer. To say I was touched would be an understatement. These people are so kind - will continue coming back just to give them my business.I never write reviews on yelp, but after stopping in here this morning I knew I needed to! The washer/dryer at my current place is down and I wanted to drop off laundry somewhere local. I found this place on yelp and decided to check it out. When I walked in, the man and woman working worriedly told me that if I wanted to get my laundry done, the turn-around time would be much longer than usually (5-6 days rather than same day or next day). They explained that their dryers are not working to capacity and after several weeks of not being able to get them serviced, they opted to purchase a new dryer which they are waiting to be delivered (estimated to arrive in a few weeks). They wanted to ensure I understood the situation because they didn't want to leave me disappointed and profusely apologized for the inconvenience. They expressed how terrible they felt in not being able to serve their customers in the timely manner they normally are. Because of their kindness and transparency, I wanted to support their business and left a few items for them to clean that I didn't need to have returned ASAP. As small business owners, I can only imagine how stressed they are dealing with mishaps with the equipment they so deeply rely on for their business. Their kindness and transparency was more than enough for me to want to support them and will continue to do so!
A small business that really cares about their craft and their customers. I appreciate the careful and thorough job they did mending my pants. They are humble, dedicated, and super friendly. Recommended!
