I specifically requested that Gill’s Electric address this electrical issue as I have used them in the past. They are a reputable Oakland company that had been around for decades. Alvaro, the Electrician, was running ahead of schedule and called to see if it was OK to come early. I appreciated the call as it was perfect for my schedule. In addition to resolving the problem, Alvaro showed me what was wrong, what he did, and explained the impact of this electrical issue and how to move forward in the future without overloading the breaker. We also discussed the feasibility of installing an outlet for charging an EV. Great, great service!!! Thank you!
Gill’s Electric recently completed a trenching and electrical project for us, and we’re very happy with the results. The work was done professionally, the crew was knowledgeable, and communication was good throughout the project.
We did run into a few unexpected issues along the way, but they were related to a third-party supplier and not Gill’s work. What stood out to me was how Gill’s handled the situation. This is my second review for Gill's Electric - I appreciate the quick call back and excellent communication. I don't know much about electrical work and the electrician was helpful and explained the whole panel upgrade and about how long the job would take.
They also did some GFCI outlet installation.
