This review is long overdue! We had a water leak during the holidays and had to rip out all of our existing flooring. We did our research and ended up at Dicks Carpet One in Oakland! Upon walking in - Joe greeted us and the rest is history. We had ZERO knowledge about what we wanted but he took the time to chat with us and recommend products that makes sense for our household. Over the span of 1 month - we borrowed samples and really dug deep into figuring out what works for our space. Joe's customer service is A1! I went to their Oakland show room to choose carpet for my bedroom closet. They had a variety of premium options in the colors I was looking for. I ordered samples of five carpets, Joe brought them personally to my house to review them. I picked my favorite and he ordered the material and they held it for me until the room was ready. The installation crew was prompt and friendly. They handled the install in a irregular shaped room with no problem. The carpet looks great!
I've used Dick's carpets periodically over many years and have never been disappointed by the selection, the service, and the final installation. No hard sell. If anything, I've been directed to the most economical options that suit my aesthetic. Friendly, efficient, and affordable! And the carpets look great. I always start here (and end here)
