As a landlord, I can no longer recommend this service. My tenant contracted a move-out cleaning service on the 450 square foot apartment he had lived in for a year. He was told that a crew of 4 cleaners worked for 2 hours and needed more time to do the job after he paid $397 for the agreed move-out service cleaning. When I inspected the unit after the crew left, there were a couple of spider webs, dirt on the baseboards and window ledges, and the walls had not been wiped (I took photos). I instructed the tenant to speak with the service, which he did and he referred her to me. She stated that the apartment was "filthy" (although she admittedly had not seen it herself) and they'd be happy to return for more money. Since I had been in the apartment prior to cleaning, I am aware of it's state - "filthy" is an extreme term and inaccurate. $397 is twice the highest charge for a move-out cleaning service for this apartment ever paid. The owner justified this charge stating that she pays her employees well and provides their benefits, which I fully support and generally confirm prior to recommending service providers. However, the other company I recommended quoted less than half this price but was not hired because they weren't available on the tenant's preferred schedule. To sum up the experience: they grossly over-charged for the service; were unwilling to complete the job quoted; and refused to take responsibility for the work.

Debbie and her team are top notch. We have been using their services for the past 5 years.They are always responsive, friendly, and adaptable to any requests of changing our schedule around and/or helping me out in a pinch of needing an extra cleaning. They are very thorough in their cleaning and considerate of when our babies are sleeping to not disturb them. Would highly recommend Housekeepers of Marin.

Housekeepers of Marin was on time and left my house spotless. Four very nice ladies converged on my house for three non-stop hours of cleaning. The results were fantastic. There did not seem to be one area in my home that wasn't cleaned by this team. If you are looking for a reliable, professional, local, and reasonable house cleaning service, Deb at Housekeepers of Marin is the answer.

Quite simply-the best. if you want your cleaning service to do their jobs, and do them well, without having to manage them, hire Housekeepers of Marin. Owner Deb is a text away and whatever you need, she is on top of it. She lets me know if the cleaners are going to come later than their expected time. She never lets me know if they aren't coming because they haven't missed a day in almost a half year. And it's the same core group every time. On the rare occasion that I'm dissatisfied with something, Deb never argues, but gets the problem rectified. That very same day. And the team-they are angels. Quiet, cleaning angels. There is no drama when they come in. They do their jobs and they never complain. They are sweet and respectful. Most importantly, they are honest. Why my husband keeps a selection of one-dollar bills in his laundry basket, I'll never know. When they excavate it, they always give it back to me. This means a lot to me. I've had a lot of trouble with previous cleaning services. Deb and her team are worry-free and a pleasure to work with.

The cleaning service was amazing! They cleaned EVERYTHING! I was home recovering from being sick when the crew came to clean. They cleaned top to bottom. They cleaned the shelves, baseboards and light fixtures...the areas that I normally just pass by. The crew was friendly and very efficient. They cleaned my 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath condo in 2 hours. What a great feeling to be in a clean house!

I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before we started using this agency. While the cleaners did a good job, we constantly struggled with owner Deb. She doesn't seem to know how to run a business. Instead of her informing us what time the maids would arrive, we always had to ask her. We told her from the beginning that we only wanted two cleaning people and asked if she could accommodate our needs. She affirmed. She would tell us a 11:00 ETA but maids might show up at 12:00 (no text, explanation or apology). We have had cleaning services before that would commit to arriving at a specific time every two weeks. We don't think that's too much to ask. We want to be able to plan our day 24 hours in advance. We don't think this is an unreasonable request. Sometimes 3 people came into our tiny condo which was too stressful for our cat (we had told her from the beginning we only wanted two cleaners). Deb seemed to blame us for an idle person sitting in the car instead of being inside our place cleaning). We received so many EXCUSES from Deb about reasons for delays or whatever. We would send a text the day before asking for ETA and she might say she had to wait til she got home to look at her book. She doesn't carry it with her or have it on her phone? She could write a book about making excuses. Obviously, she doesn't want our business. What a shame for her cleaning ladies. Her agency is overpriced and we have decided to look elsewhere.

Debbie and her crew did an excellent job for us. When they were finished, the house was spotless and sanitized, and they did a great job on the windows as well. She and her crew were very efficient and very thorough, and not only met but exceeded our expectations. She was very accommodating and was a pleasure to do business with. We will be repeat customers!
