I posted a review previously but want to follow up with specifically what it’s like to be awake during a procedure with Dr. Smith for anyone weighing the general/local anesthesia decision. I’ve done both types of surgery with Dr. Smith and I thought the experience of being awake, not being completely knocked out, was so cool and empowering! I was comfy and relaxed enough to drift off but liked getting to hear Dr. Smith and team in action. Her team is amazing and the way they all collaborate is comforting, fascinating, and distracting from what otherwise could cause some nerves.

I have been treated by the wound clinic for over a month by Melissa Smith and have been totally confident with her care and healing process. Her staff is confident and very supportive. She's made this very difficult time bearable...thank you
