I posted a review previously but want to follow up with specifically what it’s like to be awake during a procedure with Dr. Smith for anyone weighing the general/local anesthesia decision. I’ve done both types of surgery with Dr. Smith and I thought the experience of being awake, not being completely knocked out, was so cool and empowering! I was comfy and relaxed enough to drift off but liked getting to hear Dr. Smith and team in action. Her team is amazing and the way they all collaborate is comforting, fascinating, and distracting from what otherwise could cause some nerves.

Dr. Melissa Smith did a great job on my family member's surgery. The office staff and Karina were very friendly and maintained communication throughout our time and very prompt on their fast response during and after office hours. Dr. Smirth spent a great time educating us and addressing all our questions and concerns. I appreciated Dr. Smith and all of them from the bottom of my heart. Highly recommended Dr. Smith for treatment.
