As the name says, the whole place is filled with Joy! Just being there for a while, you can feel a calmness and happiness within! And, all the volunteers are very helpful, sweet, humble, and joyful!
I would love to visit this place as often as possible! :)
When you enter Ananda Village, it's as if you have entered a little piece of heaven. The vibrations are immediately calming and joyful. The residents exude peace and joy. Be forewarned, you may not want to leave!
If you're there on a Sunday, you might take in a Sunday service, where you can really get a feel for the place, including the music that contributes greatly to the overall consciousness of the very high spiritual ambience found here.
As a Y.O.U. Member, a group of us teenagers visited this place. I got “Autiobiography of A Western Yogi” as a gift. The first time I saw Yogananda’s “last smile” photo, I thought he was a woman. I have several of Yogananda’s books. He writes some of the highest thoughts I have ever read. I’m glad to see this place still exists!
