Absolutely HORRIBLE service. I gave 2 reference photos, and 6 bullet statements of what I wanted and what to avoid. In fact, she gave me everything I couldn't have wanted. I asked her to keep length, she agreed, then proceeded to cut off more than 5 inches. I asked for subtle layers, and I left with a bob cut. I am infuriated, pissed off, and my day has been ruined. I hope no one ever enters this establishment.

Near the I805, 2 blocks west of the Plaza Blvd exit within the mini shopping area where the Jollibee fast food is located at is a hair salon we love to patronize... korean owned, operated and staffed... from Mira Mesa we don't mind commuting there during the weekdays of Tuesdays and Wednesdays as they are good for quick mid week walk-ins, priced really good along with staffers having friendly personalities.

I wanted to like this place because it's affordable but don't let the price get you. It took 3 and half hours to do my hair and the result was horrible and not what I ask for. They make you wait and take costumers as they walk in while they're doing your hair they stop take another person and then continue with yours hair until before you know it you've been waiting for hours.

Booked a hairstyle service with Young. Drove 30 mins to see her and excited to receive the service. But here is what happened : Young tried the FLAT IRON to STYLE my hair and she BURNED my scalp :( :( And then i tried to tell her she couldn't use that flat iron to style my hair she said she didn't have anything else besides brushes and i should made up my mind immediately because she had another appointment on the way and didn't want to be late! I quite didn't understand how a hair dresser could STYLE hair with the flat iron! Go figure folks! Wasted one hour of time and fuel for nothing!

It's a good place. Honestly, I have issues with making decisions for hair style, and for a few months now, Lucky has managed my haircut every month. She controls everything for me, and I trust her and leave it on her. And every time I satisfy onto the results. And also it's not expensive. I definitely recommend it. People need to know here more.

Unfortunately the last time my husband came for his haircut his hair was completely butchered and the stylist didn't even know where his part was and just started shaving away and then found out after the fact and turning it into a mullet- which was not what he asked for. I ended up begging another barber to fix the last minute mess as he had to officiate a friends wedding the following day. He's been to the same salon with a different stylist without problems. FYI choose Sophia I think for men's haircuts. I felt the other lady saw him as a task and rushed getting him out of there before even seeing what his hair looked like before chopping everything off.

Just called in to ask a question about prices there for hair wash, since I have recently had surgery and needed to wash my hair. The staff there hung up on me the first time as I was explaining my situation, then were extremely unpolite and dismissive the second time. Heartless.
