Called to find out if this salon is located in TAHOE CITY. And JOSY said she did not understand the English I speak🤣. I explained to her that I was born in USA AND SPEAK ONLY AMERICAN ENGLISH. So, instead trying to find out why? I was calling she hung up. Wow this country truly needs to find the middle ground. There are so, many RUDE PEOPLE . Thanks for your help.

This business was so unprofessional and does not know how to properly manage their time! My mom had an appointment at 3 pm with Josie and did not get serviced until an hour and a half later! They took in the customer who was 3 hours late instead of helping my mom who was there early for her appointment! To make things worse, this was the second time it happened! How can such business operate like this?! No regard for other people's time!

Went here for a perm as most other salons turned me away due to having "short sides". Basically the hair on the sides of my head were too short for most stylist's to do. I later found out it was because they either didn't know how to curl short hair or they were just lazy. Josie isn't one of those stylist.. No, she takes the time to put the rods in, and meticulously and flawlessly applies everything to perfection. I didn't think we were gonna be able to do it, but I got my first full perm and it turned out perfect exactly how I wanted it! Josie and her shop are definitely a gem and one i will be definitely going back to! When I move again, it's gonna be difficult finding a talented and caring stylist like her. Definitely give this place a shot for all your hair care needs! You won't regret it.

I did not get the haircut I asked for. This was my first and only time at this salon. Mrs Josie is a nice lady but did not cut my hair as requested. Before she started cutting my hair, I asked for a high fade on the sides and got no fade. She trimmed my hair like I was a military customer, which may be fine for them, but it was not what I wanted. I asked for two inches to be left on but instead she left four inches on one section and less than two inches on another section. When she finished buzzing my sides, she asked me what I wanted on the top and I restated to leave two inches but she still did not cut my hair as requested. When she finished, I pulled up my hair to show clearly show her it wasn't two inches but she said it was by comparing it to one of her combs. I'm giving her two stars because she seems like a nice lady and the cut was a relatively cheap $12 . I'm just disappointed I have to waste my time finding a barber/salon to fix this haircut. I wanted to try this salon since it was short drive to me, but disappointingly, I will not come back to Mrs. Josie. I will not recommend guys to get cut here unless they want the basic military cut.
